At Whistle While You Wick we are dedicated to a brighter future through responsible consumerism. We believe that adding decor to your home should be guilt free which is why we strive for sustainable practices for our products without compromising quality. Our goal is to spread mindfulness and support sustainability while building a better tomorrow. We believe that we are not alone in these efforts and that together with our customers we can make an impact…
…by not making an impact.
Pure Cotton Wicks
While many candle wicks on the market contain zinc, copper or lead at their core, WWYW uses pure cotton wicks to promote sustainability through a renewable supply. Unlike the finite metallic cored wicks in many candles today, these cotton wicks do not contribute to air pollutants in your home.
Reusable Jars
Because soy wax is soap and water soluble, all of Whistle While You Wick’s container are easy to clean for reuse and repurpose. Planters, organization for desk and bathroom, table decoration and more! The upcycle uses are endless and keep unnecessary waste out of the landfills.
Sustainable Packaging
WWYW makes a continuous effort to use sustainable packaging that is recyclable and/ or compostable. Single use plastic is used as little as possible, packing peanuts are compostable, and second hand shipping materials are utilized… all in efforts to reduce landfill waste and conserve our resources.
Clean Wax
Unlike paraffin candles, soy is a plant based wax derived from the oil of soy beans. Soy wax is not only free from toxins but comes from a renewable source grown right here in the United States. When burned, soy wax does not emit pollutants or allergy irritants and has little to no soot leaving behind a better indoor air quality than traditional candles.
Locally sourced
Purchasing supplies locally means more than just supporting small business, it is an effort to lesson carbon footprint with fewer trucks on the road while maintaining quality supplies from trusted sources.
Small Batch
Small batch boasts upmost care to attention and detail. It is also the ability to pay close attention to efficient processes while creating low waste. It is mindfulness towards reducing and reusing that may otherwise be skipped in factory environments.
